PRIVACY POLICY

Cricket Auction is designed to collect as little as possible: there is no account, no advertising and no tracking or analytics cookies. This policy explains what is collected and why. The service is operated by Sriram Kommana, who is responsible for your data.

1. When you play

• Game data: the nickname you type, your room's code and settings, the franchise you pick, your bids and the final auction results.
• Browser storage: a session identifier is kept in your browser's local storage so you can rejoin a room after a refresh. It is not used to track you across sites, and clearing your browser data removes it.
• Technical data: like any website, the server receives your IP address and browser details with each request. These may appear in server logs, used only for security and fixing problems.

We do not ask for your real name, email or phone number to play. Choose a nickname you are comfortable with, because it is visible to others in your room.

2. Auction results

When an auction finishes, its results (franchises, nicknames, squads and prices) are saved so the results page keeps working. Anyone with the results link can view that page.

3. Support payments

If you choose to support the developer, you pay on Razorpay's hosted page. Razorpay collects and processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive only what is needed to record the payment and answer queries: your name, email, phone number (if Razorpay asks for it), the amount, the date and the payment ID. We never see or store card numbers, bank credentials or UPI PINs.

4. Third parties

• Razorpay: processes support payments, as described above.
• Google Fonts: the site's fonts load from Google's servers, so your browser connects to Google when a page loads.

We do not sell, rent or share your data for advertising.

5. How long we keep it

• Live room data is temporary and is cleared after the auction ends.
• Saved auction results are kept so their links keep working.
• Payment records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires.

6. Your choices

You can ask us to delete a saved results page or the payment details we hold (except where the law requires us to keep them), or ask what we hold about you. Email kommanasriram735@gmail.com and we will reply within 30 days.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change too.
