These terms apply to the Cricket Auction website and game (the "service"), developed and operated by Sriram Kommana ("we", "us"). By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. The service

Cricket Auction is a free, browser-based auction game. You can play with friends in a private room or alone against computer-controlled franchises. There is no account to create and no fee to play.

It is an independent fan-made game inspired by the IPL auction. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the IPL, the BCCI or any franchise. Player ratings and prices in the game are fictional game values, not real-world assessments.

2. Fair use

When you use the service, you agree not to:

• choose a nickname that is abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, or impersonates someone else;
• disrupt rooms or other players, or try to cheat by tampering with the game or its network traffic;
• attack, overload or scrape the servers, or use automated tools against them;
• use the service for anything unlawful.

We may close rooms or block access that breaks these rules.

3. Availability

The service is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available". We may change, pause or stop any part of it at any time. An auction in progress can be interrupted, for example if the server restarts, and saved results may not be kept forever.

4. Voluntary support payments

• You can choose to support the developer with a one-time payment through Razorpay. It is entirely voluntary.
• A support payment is not a purchase. It does not buy any goods, services, features, in-game advantage or priority support, and the game stays free whether or not you pay.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay on its own hosted page and under its own terms. We never see or store your card, bank or UPI credentials.
• Refunds are handled under our refund policy.
• If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian before making a payment.

5. Intellectual property

The game's code, design and text belong to the developer. Real cricketer and franchise names belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify them within a fan game.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service, or from it being unavailable. For support payments, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of [City], India.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the service means you accept it.
